Charla's Smash Cake | Portrait Photographer Great Fall, Montana

Charla is an amazing cake decorator at Crooked Tree Coffee and Cakes in Great Falls, MT. I guess sending out so many carefully constructed delicacies as first birthday cakes, knowing it's fate lies in the chubby unforgiving hands of a newly titled toddler, makes you think about your own priorities.

Priorities that include not letting the fun of a cake smash be left up to all the tiny people of the world. So Charla invited me to come out and create her own smash cake session for her birthday and it was a red velvet mess! (was is red velvet cake?)
